A reunion website with an alumni database and a fair prize draw
The IBA Alumni Association brings together graduates of the Institute of Business Administration, a business school in Bangladesh. For its reunion we built one website: a database of alumni, online registration, and a prize draw that picks winners at random.

What did Reinforce Lab build?
Alumni database
A MySQL database of alumni with graduation years and contact details, easy to update as new graduates join.
Reunion registration
Alumni register for the reunion online, from a phone or a computer.
A random prize draw
A custom draw in Python and Django picks a registered alumnus at random, and alumni see the results on the site, so the draw is fair and open.
What it taught us
Python, Django and jQuery were new to some of the team, and the draw logic took real problem solving. The project made us better at working through a hard brief together.
