FTC Disclosure
Which links on the Reinforce Lab website earn us a commission, how we label them, and how we decide what to recommend.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
The short version
Some links on our website are affiliate links to Semrush and WP Engine. If you buy through one of them, we earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Every affiliate link is marked Ad right next to it, and any page that contains one says so at the top. A commission never decides what we recommend.
Our relationships with the companies we mention
- Semrush: we are a member of the Semrush affiliate programme and are listed in Semrush’s Agency Partners directory. Our founder, Jamil Ahmed, is a Semrush Ambassador.
- WP Engine: we are a member of the WP Engine affiliate programme and a WP Engine agency partner.
We have no paid relationship with any other company we mention, unless the page says so next to the mention. If that changes, we will update this page and label the content where it appears.
How we label affiliate links
- Each affiliate link has a small Ad label right after it, so you can see it before you click.
- A note at the top of the page names the companies the affiliate links go to and links back here.
- In product lists and reviews, the “Visit” buttons that are affiliate links carry the same Ad label.
- Affiliate links are marked
rel="sponsored"in the page code, as Google asks, so they pass no ranking credit.
How we decide what to recommend
- We recommend tools because we use them or have tested them for clients, not because of a commission.
- In reviews we say whether we paid for our own access or the vendor gave it to us free, and vendors do not see a review before it is published.
- We do not accept payment for reviews, rankings or positive coverage.
- When a cheaper or free option is a better fit for you, we say so, even if it earns us nothing.
Why we tell you this
You should know when we could earn money from a recommendation, so you can weigh it yourself. In the United States the Federal Trade Commission requires endorsements and affiliate relationships to be disclosed clearly and next to the recommendation; in the United Kingdom the Advertising Standards Authority asks for affiliate content to be labelled as advertising. We apply the same standard to every reader, wherever you are.
